Resistivity and IP System

10 Channel Automatic Resistivity and IP System

ARES II is a high-tech instrument well equipped for measuring and displaying resistivity and IP data. Its advantages are particularly evident in large-scale 2D and 3D surveys (fields with up to 65,000 electrodes), water mapping projects, and monitoring of structural changes over time.

Resistivity and IP
Main Applications

Groundwater prospecting, geotechnical studies, dam control, environmental monitoring, geological studies, archaeology, detection of cavities and underground objects, hydrogeology, marine studies, in wells and cross-hole studies between wells.

ARES II

The instrument is designed for easy field use without the need for a computer, is powered by a 12 V battery or generator, supports a range of electrode arrangements and is compatible with common interpretation software. ARES II is a useful instrument for geophysical teams and academic groups.
