CrossOver Series

GPR Systems Series

CrossOver is a series of general purpose GPR systems, in three different housings and with 6 separate frequencies in the range 70 to 800 MHz. It is designed for the geo-professional community. It can be pulled or pushed on dedicated carts, by hand or by vehicles, at any speed.

CrossOver Series GPR Radar

CrossOver is a series of general purpose GPR systems, in three different housings and with 6 separate frequencies in the range of 70 to 800 MHz. It is designed for the geo-professional community. It can be pulled or pushed on dedicated carts, by hand or by vehicles, at any speed. Models CO4080, CO1760 and CO730 are available.

Different ultra-wideband frequencies depending on the model

It incorporates two channels with ultra-wideband frequencies centered around 70 MHz and 800 MHz depending on the model.

Measuring wheels

The measuring wheel, Φ 250 mm is made of printed plastic and fits all three CrossOver GPR units, the odometer and cable are housed inside, protected.

Built-in GPS Unit and External GPS Mounting Kit

A range of optional GPS mounting accessories are available for both the handcart and the GPS unit itself. Mounting poles are available in different lengths to vary the height of the GPR GPS unit as required.

Push Cart

The Push Cart for the CrossOver CO4080 and CO1760 models, provides an efficient means of moving the antenna over a variety of surfaces for rapid 2D GPR data collection. The handle assembly is completely collapsible to reduce physical space.

General purpose GPR, in three housings

Each system comes as a true dual frequency antenna with built-in control electronics and GPS modules. The systems are controlled via Android pads over a wireless link. It is based on real-time technology that provides excellent depth penetration and bandwidth. Low power consumption provides 7 hours of operation on a single battery.

ImpulseRadar offers GPR training courses

Our GPR training meets NULCA standards to ensure users demonstrate the appropriate knowledge, skill, and understanding to safely and professionally apply GPR to locate utilities. Contact us today to learn more about the course we offer or to secure your spot at an upcoming training event.

ViewPoint App

The Android data acquisition app includes industry standard marker functionality (APWA, AS5488 or user defined) to allow users to mark data in the field to correlate with the actual paint marks they put on the ground and any subsequent field sketches or report outputs.

Gather data according to your needs

Single scans, single-line projects, and multi-line projects (dual mode, reference line, or GPS).

Efficient Marker Assignments

Preset marker color codes consistent with industry standards for utilities to match paint markings on the ground.
User-defined custom color codes are compatible with other applications such as archaeological, environmental, geological, or geotechnical.

Intuitive and easy-to-access tools

Channel selection. Fine-tuning depth and speed. Marker assignment and placement. Data and map screenshots. Filter adjustment: background removal, gain and contrast.

Mapping with Google Earth™ and Google Map™

Open files in Google Earth™, ArcGIS, or other KMZ-compatible third-party software. Simple georeferencing with Google Map™ integration in combination with internal GPS.
