Magnetic Susceptibility
Multi Kappa and SM-20 Magnetic Susceptibility Meters
The Multi Kappa susceptibility meter allows for rapid surveys, either point-to-point or in regional profiles. Together with the traditional pocket susceptibility meter, it covers a wide range of magnetic susceptibility measurements on ground surfaces, outcrops and soil and rock samples.
The SM-20 magnetic susceptibility meter is a useful instrument for a large number of geological and geophysical applications, combining high sensitivity (10-6 SI), pocket size and very light weight.

Multi Kappa and SM-20 Magnetics
The temperature stabilization of the Multi Kappa allows for profile surveys without the need to set zero frequently. In mobile surveys, rapid GPS sampling is appreciated. Interchangeable coils/sensors of different diameters allow the optimal depth-horizontal resolution relationship to be chosen.
The SM-20 magnetic susceptibility meter is a useful instrument for a large number of geological and geophysical applications, combining high sensitivity (10-6 SI), pocket size and very light weight.

Measuring modes:
Spectrum & Assay – spectral measurement with evaluation of K, U, Th (%, ppm, ppm) and natural gamma dose (nGy/h or nSv/h) concentrations with display (isotope library) and selectable measurement duration (according to IAEA).
Dose Rate – Natural gamma dose measurement (nGy/h or nSv/h) with selectable observation time (according to IAEA).
Search – fast search using a cps (counts per second) histogram and loud sound signalling (90 dB speaker) with a programmable cps range and limit values.
Spectrum & Assay and Dose Rate modes are used for spot, borehole and continuous measurements and with GPS coordinates.
