Gamma Ray Scintillometer

Applications of the Gamma Scintillometer SGR is used for indications of fast and sensitive gamma ray sources. It is used for uranium prospecting, prospecting for artificial radiation sources, industry and health.

SGR

SGR is a robust, hand-held device that is easy to use both in the field and in industrial applications. It has an acoustic signal indication, is resistant to water and mechanical shocks. It is powered by standard C-type batteries - disposable or rechargeable.

Main features - SGR Scintilometer

SGR is a hand-held, robust device, easy to use both in the field and in industrial applications. Indication by acoustic signal, resistant to water and mechanical shocks. Powered by standard C-type batteries - disposable or rechargeable.
It covers two main working ranges:
Fast and selective search for gamma radiation sources with a fast response, sonic guidance and a histogram with 64 measured values radiometric measurements (dose range) in the spot or continuous measurement mode. Dose measurement is based on the evaluation of the collected pulses in the energy ranges between 50 keV or 400 keV to 3000 keV, according to recommendations of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency).
Response time 0.2 s
Acoustic response
Audio output for external audio
64 point histogram
Easy to use
Great battery life: 3 – 6 days of work
